My story and what keeps me going.

I started to notice odd bruises on my body and spots so tender without bruises I could barely touch them.

I now work full time with people one-on-one both online and in person.

I specialize in Personal Nutrition.

No two people are alike so why would your eating be?

I did it, I am doing it and so can you.

My stomach started hurting every day, my fatigue was intense, my hair was falling out, my body hurt all over and I had daily headaches. Sleep? No sleep.

I didn't want to be destroyed by a treatment that is supposed to improve my quality of life.

I am happily married to the man of my dreams for almost 30 years and living in the beautiful Sierras in California. My husband Keith and I have 3 sons, 2 daughter-in-loves and 4 grandsons!

The labs were great. No bacteria, no virus. I was sure I was sick! Fortunately, we stumbled upon a gluten sensitivity! I cut that out and felt a lot better and hoped that was it. But it only took away the stomach distress.

What the heck was going on with my body?

Why wasn't there a clear cut answer?

I am 48 years old and I have a Rheumatoid Disease known as Spondylopothy. Aside from flare-ups when I take on too much, I am living with 95% less pain, and boundless energy and passion!

Until about 2010 I was in pretty darn good health as a busy gym owner and strength and conditioning coach. I worked hard and eventually obtained the coveted Level 2, Strong First Russian Kettlebell Instructor certification.

Loyd Party of 11!

I didn't know if it was hormones or autoimmune dysfunction...I didn't know where to start.

Autoimmune Disease.

I went to my regular MD, OB/GYN, Functional medical doctor, acupuncturists, chiropractors and massage therapists, Neuro-trained Chiropractors...we only came up with Fibromyalgia and Chronic Pain Disorder, and now anxiety.

I switched to a healing diet and started supplementing everything I read about for Fibro.

I needed direction, I needed a map!

The body pain just wouldn't go away, nor the injuries that looked like over-training. But I knew I wasn't. I was so careful and diligent with my body.

Then the hot flashes came. And I chalked it off to "The Change" and my busy life of running my own business and family.

Please don't get me wrong, I think there is a time and place for modern medicine and it's treatments.

But I believe in the power of diet and lifestyle, I found my path.

So much so that in my own passion for healing, I went back to school to become a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practioner to not only heal and restore my own health but to guide others beyond simple clean eating plans.

I am proud of what I do.

I love to be a part of helping people get their lives back.

This is my calling.

Finally, after 9 years I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease called Spondylopathy. This is a Rheumatic disease that affects the spine and in my case also the large joints; shoulders, hips, elbows, knees, and ankles.

I also have Enthesitis which is also an inflammatory condition that affects where your muscles attach to bones via ligaments, cartilage, and other fibrous tissue. Let's not forget Osteoarthritis in my hands!

This latest diagnosis was made by a Rheumatologist and his only suggested treatment?

Conventional Medicine's Answer:

Prescription drugs such as NSAIDS, Immunosuppressants and corticosteroids.
